Lets Talk Stats

Boys are diagnosed with autism 4.2 times more often than girls. Girls with autism may also exhibit different symptoms and may be diagnosed later than boys.

The average age of autism diagnosis in the US is 5 years old, but a specialist can reliably diagnose it by age 2.
